Learning to sit-ski can be a powerful liberating experience for people with disabilities. Novice sit-skiers are usually taught by a standing instructor, following behind them for their own safety. Due to these constraints, instructors are often limited to teaching through verbal input. It can be a challenging task for the student to master physical motions without visual input. Mimic bridges the gap between instructor and student by providing a real-time visual demonstration of correct technique controlled by the instructor. The intuitive learning curve will improve student engagement and make the experience of skiing accessible to more people.
